Wi-Fi at the Almaty International Airport

Wireless Internet access service representation by the Wi-Fi technology was hold at the Almaty International Airport on 24 December. There are 9 hot spots at the airport for the passenger terminal full covering by the Wi-Fi. Now it is possible to use this service at any point of the passenger terminal including VIP-lounge.

Wi-Fi technology (abbreviature of Wireless Fidelity) is a standard assigned for the local wireless network providing.

Wi-Fi standard allows to provide the high-speed Internet access from any notebook, handheld PC, smartphone or wireless IP-phone at the Wi-Fi covered area where it must be set corresponding access points.
