A presentation of Ashgabad-Almaty flight was held in Almaty on May 26. Vice Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan Azat Bekturov and heads of the Almaty international airport JSC participated in the presentation, the Ministry’s press service reports. The Turkmen side was headed by the deputy director of the Turkmenkhovayollary (Turkmenistani Airlines) National State Service.

Turkmenistan became the initiator of the air communication’s renewal, which was interrupted ten years ago. The request and foundation on renewal of the air service were made in accordance with requirements of the air transport agreement between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

Turkmenkhovayollary air company is one of the largest carriers of Turkmenistan, carrying out the international flights.
