Almaty International Airport hosted young guests from Miras International school.

On February 23, an excursion for the Miras pupils was made at Almaty International Airport.
The excursion for young audience of the Miras school was opened on runway. Vivid impression for children was a trip on apron during
which they took a keen interest in watching the take-off and landing of passenger air liners. Almaty International Airport staff in detail
answered the children’s numerous questions as to the airport work. Children could not conceal their astonishment and they radiated joy.
Children viewed photographs from the airport fund and listened to the stories about Almaty airport history.
A hangar complex of aviation-technical center was showed to the excursionists. Children could oversee the
process of air line handling, and then could go on board of passenger airplane and visit a flight deck.
After interesting and entertaining journey, lunch was arranged for the children at business terminal of Almaty
International Airport. The excursionists were treated with delicious dinner cooked at ACS flight meal shop attached to the airport. President of the
airport Mr. Aibol Anuarovich Bekmukhambetov personally greeted children and willingly answered the numerous questions. After a cognitive part of excursion,
souvenirs and remembrances about wonderful little journey at Almaty International Airport were presented to the children.
Almaty International Airport within the framework of program regularly conducts excursions for pupils and children.
Such excursions allow children to see the work of the main air gate of country, to know more about various fields of the airport activity.
The excursion of such type awakes interest, teaches the younger generation, devoted to aviation, to love future profession.
