First inauguration flight of Mahan Air took place in Almaty International Airport

First inauguration flight of Mahan Air on route Tehran-Almaty-Tehran took place in CIP terminal of Almaty International Airport on 16th of June 2010 at 18:00. Flights will be 3 times per week on comfortable aircrafts Airbus A – 310. There are 196 seats on board of the aircraft: 12 of which is business class. The First flight 5027 will depart from Tehran Airport (IKA) on Wednesday 16 0f June 2010 at 13:00 and will arrive to Almaty International Airport at 18:00 (local time). Duration of the flight is 3 hours 15 minutes.

Almaty is the 15th international destination of Mahan Air from Hub airport of Tehran. Passengers of Mahan Air will be offered suitable connection flights to various destinations, such as Dubai, Istanbul and Dusseldorf etc.

This event brought together officials of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Presentational event of inauguration flight of Mahan Air was opened by Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazakhstan Mr. Gorban Safe. Vice- Minister of transport and Communications Duysembaev Erkyn Seydegalievich greeted guests and expressed his respect and wish for further development of friendly and business relationship between countries. First Vice- President of JCS AIA Tumishev Koblandy Majitovich on behalf of the president and staff of Almaty International Airport congratulated with the beginning of flights on route Tehran- Almaty- Tehran executed by Mahan Air, and expressed his hope for continuous and mutually beneficial partnership between Iran and Kazakhstan.

On the inauguration of first flight of Mahan air participation was taken by representatives of local and foreign Airlines, as well as media representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Kazakhstan.
