Modernization of information systems in the Almaty airport

“Flight Information Desk System” utilized by the Almaty airport since 2003 has been morally and physically outdated over 9 constant working years. Thus, the decision was made to change the current system for a more modern.

In the near future 75 new monitors, produced in South Korea by LG company model M4214CCBA, will be installed inside of the passenger terminal in the international and domestic lounges, at the check-in desks and the gates. This model corresponds to the requirements of working 24/7 in the airport and the requirements of international company SITA in integration with other airport equipment. Being designed on the basis of the LCD, television provides significant power savings in contrast to previous plasma displays. New televisions have a high definition display 75 Hz and a pleasant aesthetic appearance that embellishes the room in the passenger terminal.
