Party for acts of kindness

On June 10, 2010, a primary party organization People’s Democratic Party Nur Otan was established at Almaty International Airport JSC. At that time it included 23 persons only. In more than a year, 1760 airport employees have become members of Nur Otan up to date. In this period number of party-membership card holders was increased manyfold and many acts were done such as events in honour of Victory Day and People’s Unity Day of Kazakhstan, charity event dedicated to Day of Older Persons, and celebration of Nauryz with merriment, ideas and dastarkhans as well. By the 1st of June a competition of children’s pictures was held among airport employees’ children, and on the 6th of July Day of Astana was celebrated.

 It should be noted that party nucleus of Nur Otan goes beyond the one-time events. Material assistance is regularly rendered to veterans who are former employees of the airport. Excursions, different contests are held, and dance and sports circles are open for children. Special attention is paid to a healthy life style and participation in sports events. For one year airport employees have become winners and awardees of several big sports events. So, our team won the mini-football championship (Almaty 2011) and became a bronze medal winner of the VI football tournament among air companies and international airports from the CIS (Moscow 2011), and a twice winner of mini-football championship among Kazakhstan airports. Chairman of the primary party organization People’s Democratic Party Nur Otan is A.A. Bekmukhambetov, President of Almaty International Airport JSC.
